It stays on your phone unless you pick a cloud feature. Sync is opt-in and anonymous, and publishing a share ID — which makes one report readable by anyone holding the eight-character code, free sections only — is a deliberate tap. The hosted coach stores only an id and a timestamp for rate limiting, never your messages; when the online model writes a reply, the text is processed by our AI provider, and the built-in offline model avoids that entirely.
